Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1993, it has the characteristic of an innovative slatted mattress support available in Canaletto walnut (traditional or natural), matt or glossy lacquered in the colours white and ivory or in the finishes with thermostructured surfaces: Style in the sand colour, Epoque in the colours white or grey or in the new finish River dark nut and light grey. The slats are joined by a gros-grain nylon belt. Tadao is available in 4 widths and 2 lengths.

The innovative, resistant elastic fabric stretched over the headboard is as comfortable as the backrest of a chair. Raised from the ground, the bed is available as a double-size or as a single bed. Biss provides an excellent solution when space is limited. It consists of two completely independent single beds. Both are fitted with fixed slats with rigidity adjustment and the removable covers are available in fabric, leather or Ecopelle. The base of the top bed, complete with headboard, can be opened and used to contain the second bed. There is no headboard attached to the second bed, which is fi tted with wheels to facilitate movement. Two versions are available: one can be raised from the floor, thanks to a piston device; the other remains at floor level and cannot be raised.
