Soft like a large cloud and generous in shape, sit or stretch out on Nebula Nine’s big, soft cushions covered in stone-washed linen. They define the sofa’s look and create the ideal space for relaxing alone or in company. The all-wood frame is particularly strong and solid.
Stress-resistant polyurethane foam with differentiated densities and polyester fibre on wood frame. Feet in ash.

Highlands

A narrative which is the natural continuation of the Lowland project. The central theme of Highlands is movement, the innate potential for verticality of the backrest and armrests. Two possible positions, using a smooth, almost organic movement which is never mechanical. Flexibility which inevitably renders the elements modular. The surfaces and the various elements of upholstery, the tailoring, the stitching detail on the covers, and the care used all combine in this highly expressive piece. A tribute to the couture-spirit of both the designer and the company.

Lowland

A sofa, a changing landscape made from elemental shapes which dynamically interact with one another. Patricia Urquiola deconstructs the classic sofa, and re-proposes it through a synthesis of surfaces. Simplicity, definition, dynamism and transformation are the uniting characteristics which bring together the individual elements: seats, backrests and armrests are modules which can be coordinated, combined and endlessly reconfigured. In 2000, the designer had already grasped what is now a well-established concept, the creation of system which works as a single piece, a project which goes beyond modularity-as-function to give absolute freedom in creating compositions dedicated to comfort and style.
