Vertical self-standing 360* revolving bookcase. Structure and shelves in black metal or white lacquered. Base in polished steel or white lacquered. All the Ptolomeo products manufactured by Opinion Ciatti have the designer’s signature on the base as a guarantee of authenticity. Dimensions: 52x52xH 188/110.

Available in three different compositions:
Kit A – 188, composed of 15 shelves 13 cm apart. Books can only be laid horizontally to make the best use of space available. Each shelf contains up to 30 volumes for a total of 420 volumes or 85 CDs per shelf for a total of 1190.
Kit A – 110, composed of 8 shelves 13 cm apart. 240 volumes or 680 CDs.
Kit B – 188, composed of 7 shelves 26 cm apart for vertical book storage. Approx 35 volumes per shelf -245 volumes total.
Kit B – 110, composed of 4 shelves 26 cm apart. 140 volumes total.
Kit C – 188, composed of 5 shelves 26 cm apart and 4 shelves 13 cm apart. 295 volumes total or 175 volumes and 340 CDs.
Kit C – 110, composed of 3 shelves 26 cm and 2 shelves 13 cm apart. 165 volumes total or 105 volumes and 170 CDs.

Piles of books on the study tables, too many to get round with the duster. Piles of books on all the other table in the house, that you have to move every time you need to lay the table. A pile on the bedside table to the left of the bed, and another on the floor beside the bed. Some more on the right.
Books piled up in the spaces between others stacked on the book-shelves. Not really manageable the pile on the sofa in all its multiplicity of shape and content. Finding the essay on The Order of Things, bought last Saturday, is no easy matter. On the chest in the entrance hall, belonging to some great-grandmother or other and relic of tens of removals, a veritable forest of piles has grown up. Forgotten uncut books swallowed up who knows where. This is my home.
This in all the houses where books,that indispensable prop of life, are cherished. Look at the piles, gaze fascinated at those so high that they seem to mock the law of gravity.
